Dzibanché
Male wood carving artists who relied on the stars to predict their crops. Dzibanché in Mayan means “wooden writing” since carved wooden lintels that were inside one of its temples were found inside the area.
This complex is located very close to the Kinichná archaeological zone. The diversity of the region contributed to the first growth of Dzibanché since they are located in an area of lowland jungle in the north of the Yucatán Peninsula and tropical rainforest of the Petén.
